Natural excursions
Catanese Nebrodi are part of a wider Regional Park, studded with beautiful woods and abundant streams, little lakes and ponds (the so-called "margi").
The landscape of Catanese Nebrodi is completely different from the one of Mt. Etna, right because of the abundance of water. A lot of excursions can be planned in these precious lands: you can take the car and discover the valleys hiding behind the main mountain chain - all covered by tiny paths leading to the Park limits.
From there you can walk to the beautiful Trearie Lake, the Nelson Obelisk and the Masseria of S. Maria del Bosco.
