In Bronte, the homeland of pistachio, you really can't miss the bakeries and their recipes cotaining pistachio as main ingredient, including a spreadable cream that can compete with the Piedmontese one, made with cocoa and hazelnuts. In the late Spring, Maletto becomes the queen of strawberries - their festival takes place during the second Sunday in June.
In the Etna side, as well as in the valley bottom, wide vineyards produce a delicious origin-guaranteed red wine.
